Tewkesbury History Festival

21 June 2026, 2:30pm at The George Watson Memorial Hall, 65 Barton Street, Tewkesbury, GL20 5PX

Tewkesbury lies at the absolute heart of Wars of the Roses country, so I’m thrilled to be speaking at this wonderful history festival, courtesy of the town’s John Moore Museum,

I’ll be looking at the Wars of the Roses through the eyes of the women who shaped them.  And, while you’re in Tewkesbury, don’t forget to visit the Abbey, where so many key players of the wars are buried, including George Duke of Clarence, his wife Isabella and Marguerite of Anjou’s son, Edward of Westminster, killed at the Battle of Tewkesbury on 4 May, 1471.
